Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I have black leather and want to fill those cracks.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I refurbished my 996 front seats today i have to say it came out better than expected.
i used this mid grey balm with a sponge butbit wasnt enough material so i used the aerosol below as a yop coat it turned out pretty damn good.
this was the top coat
they were cracked and dirty faded . so used the leather balm with a small sponge in a circular motion to push the product into cracks it filled them very nicely. i let that dry for 24 hrs. then sprayed the seats with the aerosol grey leather dye. the colour looks a bit lighter than original but it's a ton better they look like new. I'm very pleased with the result.and I'm a veteran autobody paint sprayer.body man.
ok here we go . so sanded the seats with a fine sand paper 320 grit by hand then I washed the seats with dawn and water solution.dried that off, masked of areas not to be painted . then I degreased the surface with clean paper towel .then I used the cream leather balm with a sponge to rub into the cracks , let that dry for 24 hrs .then I sprayed the the aerosol leather dye straight ontop. I gave it 2 coats which covered it well .but decided to put a 3rd light coat for good measure. they look pretty damn good . I'm very pleased with the results. as you can see from pics. hope this helps .any more questions don't hesitate to ask. good luck and take your time.
Must have been the "Yop coat"... does it every time...
When using the sponge/dab technique it takes 3 to 4 passes/coats to get an opaque and acceptable finish...
the kit came with 3 small bottles i mixed the dark one and the medium together ..then I 24 hrs . I used the aerosol.which is in the photos. that covered very well a little light but . unless you have the colour matched and out in can it will never be perfect. but im satisfied with the outcome
