Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

13 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

On my 03 4s center tach dial i have for months had the display from top to bottom as (1) ave mpg, (2) total miles, (3) miles to empty. Last night i got in the car and the bottom display had switched to something else and i definitely had not played with the stalk that controls the display. Has this happened to anyone else? Electrical gremlin?

Better get the cylinders scoped... Better yet, get a full PPI (post purchase inspection) I bet it needs to have a bunch of stuff addressed...

POST 12Original post

Well from all the details, it sounds like to me that it could be either a case of the dreaded Bremen Brittle Death Syndrome or those nasty Burmese Gas Worms that could be raising havoc. I am pretty that a trip to the local auto parts store to find some chemical quackery and place it into a small container with about seven or eight mothballs and allowing it to dissolve before adding it to your gas tank may prevent further damage.

Murder hornets and solar rays........maybe moon beams?
