Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I have an 01 C4 Cab and am in the process of installing the Console Delete kit and I think I have accidentally disconnected a cable and I can't seem to find where it needs to be plugged back in.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have an 01 C4 Cab and am in the process of installing the Console Delete kit and I think I have accidentally disconnected a cable and I can't seem to find where it needs to be plugged back in. It is the pictured 4 pole connector on the left with green and brown wires ( the one on the right is the %&@! DSP connector!). I was trying fish my heated seat wiring up to the dash and I must have pulled this connector. I temporarily put everything else back together to test that everything worked, since I had to remove the radio, climate unit, and the PSM switch to move the heated seat switches and I received no warning lights - so I am not sure what it could be. Any info is greatly appreciated! (Oh yeah - it is marked BMW!)

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Maybe this is the accessory Phone connector, and it is unused?

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks Gator - can anyone else confirm?

POST 5Original post

Phone prep connector: Brown = Ground Yellow/Black = telephone mute Green/Black = switched 12V Red/Green = un-switched 12V

POST 6Original post

Yup. Perfect source for fused, switched power for any aftermarket electronics.
