Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Well, Spring is finally here! The calendar says so and Mother Nature finally released its snowy, icy grip on the frozen tundra here in Upstate NY. While the local roads haven't been swept, I couldn't resist. The warm temps (mid 40's) and plenty of sunshine was all it took. The cover came off, the GT3 seats went back in, the harnesses were switched to accommodate my HANS, the GoPro camera was mounted, all the winterization was removed, bounce sheets, trickle charger, damp rid, mouse traps, etc., and I turned the key for the first time since late November???? A long winter has come to an end. Ah, the sound of those Fisters, sweet music!! In the next week or two she goes in for new clutch fluid, new brake fluid, new power steering fluid (the tranny gear oil was new last year with the IMS replacement) and track season begins for me at LimeRock Park, Friday April 8th. Life is getting better!!! A few pix were snapped, that I want to share.

Ferd: A friend helped me put in a tequipment roll bar last summer. A bit of a PIA, but worth it.

POST 4Original post

ah... yes, Mine is off at the moment, I once thought that the tequipment did not help with rigidity. Till I tracked with one and I started to hear the rollbar squeak around corners at the track.... it must be doing something for rigidity. I can imagine what the welded ones do.

POST 5Original post

Man, it must be excruciating keeping the car in the garage for months. Glad to hear she is getting ready for some track days. Have fun out there.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

It was excrutiting at first, then you learn to deal with with through denial, it isn't there under the cover, parked next to me........then you graduate to better drugs to dean with the denial, or some good single malt scotch......then miraculously, the symptoms clear up every Spring!

POST 8Original post

Glad she's back on the road! (I had the 914 out on Friday.) See you on the 8th!

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

you guys crack me up with the "pumpkins." @Paseb, thankx, @Van, can't wait, looking forward to catching up with you, been a while.

POST 10Original post

Have fun at the track. Keeping the pumkins makes your Porsche faster.

POST 11 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

@Barn996, yeah faster pumpkins..........lol....I will get around to it, just not that important to me. An ecu flash and/or some shocks are much higher on the "to do" list....pumpkins is one of those items, if I get bored, I can play in the garage.... maybe sometime this Spring, before I go to the Glen?! This way I fit right in, not stand out or anything......slide in under the radar.

POST 12Original post

Keep the pumpkins and add some orange flames!

POST 13Original post

Actually on the black car I kinda like the pumpkins :s

POST 14 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

LOL @ Whaley....graphics are waaaayyyy down the road.......Orange flames......ya kill'n me. Wait, you spondsoring me???? Then yes, to Orange Flames......
