Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I had the windshield replaced and so they removed the A pillar trim to get to the FM antenna connector.

...and that would make it 996 related, but not a part for the car or a Porsche part - they just used the numbering system.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

If you think it's from the body of the car then this is your catalog:

Be sure "Body" is selected in the grey toolbar below the model numbers in red.
For $1 million I still don't know. You got me digging and it's one of the most frustrating searches I've made for a part and I've spent way too much time looking. Hate is too strong a word, but I'm not your biggest fan right now. You better have a new video coming soon.
Obviously it will not be exposed, but to you know if inside the cabin or not?
I just had a 2000 coupe striped to the chassis and that part was not on my car. I would guess its a convertible only part. Probably for noise control or impact foam for under a back seat panel.
Im working on the next video. Just took a break from editing but not fixing.
Like I mentioned I couldnt find it either. I have the Katalog parts list but this part isnt listed. I had the windshield replaced and so they removed the A pillar trim to get to the FM antenna connector. If I had to guess, it came out of there.

That's brilliant, whether it turns out to be right or not!
Its a possibility but I didnt observe any foam around the glass. It arrived like any other glass replacement. Stored in a row in the back of the van. I guess I can remove the left trim and see if theres a matching piece.
