Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I re-installed my old halogen assembly, and it was having the same issue, it just wasn't as noticeable with it.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

So I bought a set of new litronics headlights and clear corners for my 00 C2. Slid the new lights in and hit the switch. The low beams are fine. The high beam and fog light are real dim on the drivers side. The small parking light won't even come on, on the drivers side. I pulled the unit out and made sure everything was secure on the housing, re-installed and still have the same issues. I tinkered around with them for a bit and it seems like the drivers side assembly is just getting low voltage on everything. I ordered a new switch from suncoast, hopefully it cures the issues. Any thoughts?

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The lights have the ballast built into the headlight assembly. The HID portion is the only part that is working correctly.

POST 4Original post

Did you try switching high beam and fog light bulbs to the other side?

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yes I did. It seems like the drivers side just isn't getting full power to it. I removed the headlight switch and cleaned it, no difference... I re-installed my old halogen assembly, and it was having the same issue, it just wasn't as noticeable with it. That just leaves the switch and the various connectors doesn't it?
