I am lowering my 02 996 4S and want to replace the struts and all the piece involved. Everything between where the strut attaches to the hub to the strut mount. I just don't know the name of all the pieces I need for the front and back. I figure that since I am in there, the car is almost 20 years old and alignments are $200+, I should just do it all at once. Can someone please post a diagram with words that shows all the pieces (Front and back). I don't have a Bentley for this car yet and I am really struggling to find a diagrams on the web. Any help appreciated. David

Sorry, found it in one of the other posts. Thanks. Regarding the front, anyone know the difference between the base plate 3.0mm and 6.5m. Part Numbers: 99-343-52500 and 99-343-52501 Not sure if I need both twice or one of each. Also Rear Compensating plate, one is 5mm and the other says 4mm Part Numbers 996-3333-51102 and 996-333-51103. These parts will cost more than the struts. Ouch.
