Suggestion
this weather is just plain aweful and hopefully it will soon turn for the better but it will take some weeks to get the potholes filled so I'm confident that I won't waste a wheel before I pull mine out of the garage.

OMG the replacement of the CD storage was easier then changing a light bulb....IMS is a whole different story.

...naw, just kidding. Now that I have this job under my belt, I've built up enough confidence to remove my CD storage unit and install the storage cubby.

Ed, I am going to do the amberectomy when I get around to it; the ambers weren't bothering me as much as the pumpkins were so I've put it off. The picture does really bring out the amber, though, doesn't it?
fast996: the wheels are 19" RPK 038s. My car's PO got them from Wheel Dynamics. I believe r1de23 just bought a set of the same wheels in black and posted a thread with pics of them within the last week or so. I was rocking 17" Cup wheels with snow tires until this past weekend. As you can see from the picture, the gorgeous Michigan spring weather inspired me to put the summer tires on! I'm sure it won't snow now!

Tanner: sorry, I was just goofing around. I know the pumpkins and such are easy jobs, I've been working on cars for a few years now. Now, the IMS job is probably about 120% of the capability I've built up thus far, but life is about learning, right? Anyway, don't pay me no mind.

I too live in Ann Arbor ... this weather is just plain aweful and hopefully it will soon turn for the better but it will take some weeks to get the potholes filled so I'm confident that I won't waste a wheel before I pull mine out of the garage. Is it possible to get enough locals together once a month for a coffee and drive kind of event in the A2 area (maybe at Great Lakes coffee)?
