Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Jake prefers to work on super clean metal surfaces for his engine assemblies, but because metal reflects light, it's bad for video production.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I bought the M96 Engine Assembly DVDs and when to watch the first one this morning. I put the DVD into my DVD drive and nothing happens. When I use File Explorer to look at the DVD there are two folders, one audio which is empty and one video which has many files, most are BUP other a different type of file. Windows Media payer won't play the files and other media players don't recognize the file types. Any suggestions on how to play the videos?
First of all, have you tried to play the videos in a standard set-top DVD or BluRay player? This will help rule out any defective discs. How old is the computer you're trying to play the DVDs on?
The computer is about 2 month old. It does not have a built in DVD so I have one that attaches. I will try a Blu-ray player but I really want to be able to play them on the computer in my work room.
People play these on computers all the time. I dont deal with sales of the videos but no one has ever complained about this.
we use a laptop to play the videos in classes, and extend the screen to a large monitor.
These videos are technical "DVD-video" DVD9 formatted/encrypted discs. This type of formatting is identical to the way motion picture films are distributed. Not to be confused with standard DVD-RAM (i.e. data DVDs). Therefore, some third party DVD computer drives won't play the DVD-video discs via Microsoft Media Player without downloaded decoder plugins.

Not trying to say that computers won't play DVD-video discs, but computer technology can be more problematic that has nothing to do with the discs themselves.
Another way to rule out a problem is go and get a motion picture film on DVD and try it on the DVD computer drive.
Kodi will probably play it and it's free. I just got a new PC and was having trouble viewing videos I've watched many times before on my old computers. Kodi worked right away.
Quick question for Jake and others. In the videos there is an absorbent cloth on the surface they are using. I know it Ned’s to be lint/fiber free. Any idea what it is?
Windows 10 does not natively play DVDs out of the box. You'll either have to buy the player from the MS store, or get 3rd party player.
