Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

From time to time I see people making comments they can't find a 3.4 or 3.6l replacement engine so I thought I would post this craiglist add. IMS upgrade done, looks like they used the roller bearing style.

Not to mention the owner of that company selling said motors has been banned from RL TWICE!
btw......not flaming the OP because he is from my hometown. Us cheezers stick together.
Is this the MB******repair shop? If so, then this shop has been advertising on local Kijiji (similar to Cragilist here in Canada) for the last few months after a couple of the local 996 owners had work done by them.
I noticed their local ad here shows an address in Nova Scotia, but a Chicago area code phone number is listed.
A bit of smoke and mirror.......
Do they have a fix for the IMSB? Is theirs different from the others? Is the owner a good guy? Is he honest? Whats the name of his shop? Do they also do heads? Why is his work less than most others?
Yes
Yes, roller bearing, same as Vertex I think.
Hard to say. He went round and round with Jake pretty good. I wasn't very impressed.
I think he is a guy trying to make his way and he is new to the USA. I think he is in way over his head compared to Flat6 services but his prices are half or less, lead time is non existent.
It has changed several times, Porsche land, Forsche land and now MB motorsports I think. I suspect it will change again as the owner doesn't seem to comprehend violating trademark law.
He claims to do it all...
Lower labor rates, lots of used parts, much less time into each build.
