Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Unless something better comes along that is cheaper, I will only use Hankook
Leading evidence: 'Use hankook' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Use hankook' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi everyone. I'm in the market for a 996 turbo. After looking all day on craigslist/ebay/autotrader/etc, I have noticed no White cars! Did they make these cars in white? Are they just really rare? I'd like to get a white one, but if that's going to be impossible or very difficult, I'd like to know up front so that I can decide on another color. Thanks!
I'm sure they offered it in white but I don't recall ever seeing any. White looks great on the 996 GT3 but, IMHO, mostly when they have graphics on the sides (Porsche or GT3 or something similar). I'm sure you'll find one if you're patient enough. Otherwise, just get one in a better color (KIDDING!).

FIFY.
There are more than a handful of brand snobs, perceived safety elitist, wannabe performance ****'s on here...
BTW, ironically Hankook is the choice tire that is run in German DTM racing. You know, the one with Mercedes, BMW, Audi with the big 8 cylinder motors(German Nascar, lol)?
You got that right. Made the mistake of driving my car about 2 weeks ago. Hit a pothole on IH10 and ruined a front tire. Lesson learned about driving my car. Havent moved it since. Had to pay @$273 for one Mich PS2 N3 but it sure looks nice knowing it has the OEM tires. Porsches just dont look right with the wrong tires, especially that white GT3.
Back on topic, I think white looks good on any model of Porsche and I don't understand why there are not more ordered that way.
When you buy used, you have to accept the colors that were popular at the time which for 996s seems to mean silver, black, silver, sometimes red, silver, sometimes blue, rarely green or yellow, silver, black, and silver.
