Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

A friend told me that he researched it and found somewhere that it could be an ignition switch problem, but I havent found anything that mentions that, nor does it make sense to me - not that having to remove and replace the fuses on my car to get the radio going does!

Based on 2003 model....MOST-bus....assuming you set PCCM+ to 'CAN' and not 'Amp'....correct?

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Next morning, same $&@?!, but this time, I removed the radio fuse and the sound system fuse (labeled as soung system on my car!), and it worked.
So I installed the PCCM+ in my 2003 C4S, with Bose. At first there was no sound at all. I looked around the forums and tried everything, yet nothing worked. I then proceeded to uninstall and reinstall the head unit. All of a sudden, it started working! Then I turned off the car, walked away and called it a day. The next morning, I get in, turn on the radio and, you guessed it, no sound. Went through the same
steps, and after doing what felt like nothing at all, it started working. So I called it a day again. Next morning, same $&@?!, but this time, I removed the radio fuse and the sound system fuse (labeled as soung system on my car!), and it worked. A friend told me that he researched it and found somewhere that it could be an ignition switch problem, but I havent found anything that mentions that, nor does it make sense to me - not that having to remove and replace the fuses on my car to get the radio going does! So Im putting it out there, hoping to hear back from people that are way smarter than I am. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
That's a great question, actually! I have it working on AMP setting. That's the only setting that gets it to work when I remove/replace the fuses. If I put it on CAN, it doesn't work, even if I remove/replace the fuses. One time after it was working on AMP, I switched over to CAN, and it kept working. I turned off the car, started it back up, and it worked. Needless to say, I was stoked. That is, until I turned the radio off (with the button, instead of shutting off the car), then boom... no sound. I should also note that if it's on AMP, the radio stays on when I turn the car off, and remove the key from the ignition. When it's on CAN, it functions properly (meaning that it turns off when the car turns off). I'm at my wits end here. Doubting my decision to go with this versus a Pioneer.
