I unfortunately stopped using eBay a couple years ago, when they began badly screwing sellers over, so no real means for me to collect my own data.

The whole market seems to be a bit out of wack at the moment so the going rate seems to be whatever someone is willing to pay. Prices of cars have been going up and that will also cause prices of parts to go up as well, unfortunately. With that said, I'd search for some closed listings on eBay and other places to get a feel for what others may have paid.

Thanks for the suggestions. Unfortunately I don't have access to search closed eBay listings and I'm not on socialmedia of any sort; so that's out as well. Is there a similar recent sales feature in the marketplace here?

Anyone can search old eBay listings. Just search for the item you're looking for then on the left side, scroll down and under "Show Only" check off Completed Items and Sold Items. This will show you all items that have sold and prices.

The second result when I searched " Sport Design BBS" was a set that sold 5 month ago for $1000. I will say that the 8" front is much more rare than the Carrera stock size.
