Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

First time I saw that back end I knew I had to get one. Finally did and drove my new to me 03 C4s through a torrential downpour on the way home. It's my first rear wheel rear engine car and man it was twitchy through standing water. Anyway got her home safe and enjoyed the sound of the flat six. Didn't use the radio. Love the car. Can't wait to learn what it can really do but not get in trouble on the streets.
Will post pics when I get to a computer.
What tires are you running? I have a C2 and the grip is great even in the wet until the tires lose the tread depth. Then you need to be careful! Yea, that flat 6 sound is awesome - I never use the stereo either and keep the windows open to better hear that mean exhaust!
Michelin pilot sports with pretty good tread depth. I definitely think tires were part of it. Plus I was going a little too fast for the conditions. So I just slowed down and was fine. I'd go over the water. The back end would slightly go out then correct itself (psm?). I'm not a fan of michelins but everyone raves about them so I'll give them a shot.
i'm addicted to this car. checking the forum everyday and just want to drive all day everyday. wonder if I can work from my car?
Any some more pics from my pick up and previous owner...
Nice car. My last two Porsche's have been a 996 NA, and a 996 TT. I am probably one of the few that would say I preferred the driving experience of the NA. It is more nimble, sounds better (even with a Fabspeed on the TT), and for me, more fun. Yes, the acceleration of that tuned TT was amazing, and it did handle better with coil over suspension, but the lighter weight in the NA translated to more fun in the twisties which I prefer over straight line acceleration. Yes the TT put a smile on my face and I miss it now that it's gone. However the sale was for a good cause. I am excited to be getting back into a light nimble NA Porsche, with my Spyder on order.
