Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Last week after finding a dead battery(6 years old), I installed a brand new battery after locating the SS pull cable beneath the passenger side wheel well(I removed the tire/wheel first), entered my radio code, filled front tires to 35 psi, rears to 40 psi and checked my coolant level.

My Porsche did less than 1200 miles since I last changed the oil and filter in May of 2014.
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Haven't driven my 911 since mid Feb. when I left for a vacation with my wife and 3 other couples in Jamaica, and managed to rupture my Achilles tendon(completely severed). My Porsche did less than 1200 miles since I last changed the oil and filter in May of 2014. I watched as the golden brown Castrol Syntech 5w-40w drained into my oversized oil pan under my engine. Was anxious to look at my LN magnetic drain plug and saw no whiskers with the naked eye, none.Next I cut open my oil filter and again found nothing
. No particles of any kind.Put in a new Mahle oil filter and o-ring, and poured 9.3 qts. of 5w-40w Castrol synthetic. Torqued drain plug to 19lbs., filter housing to 37lbs.stared the engine and checked for leaks.

Just came in from a 15 minute drive and I can't stop smiling! I plan to pile on some miles once I get a little stronger with my clutch foot. Still going to PT, have regained ROM, off crutches(almost 10 weeks), need to strengthen calf muscle in particular. Going out tonight with my first wife and we're taking the Porsche('99).
Steve, sorry to hear about your injury. That looks painful. Best wishes for a speedy recovery. Glad to hear you are back in the Porsche. Mine has been parked for about the same amount of time, due to a major home remodel project....I miss driving it. I hope you enjoy being reunited with yours.
I had my left ACL reconstructed a couple of years back, and those 2 months or so of "no clutch for you" seemed eternal. Welcome back to the wonderful world of 3 pedals!
Well...discussing my road to recovery with my ortho on Tuesday. I partially tore my Achilles. If the words, "you can't drive a manual car" come out of his mouth I may pass out.
Glad you are back in your Porsche again. Feeling must be unreal!
Steve:
welcome back, enjoy the nice driving weather now that you can. Glad to see that you weren't tempted to flappy paddle it, although, no one would condemn you for possibly having those thoughts. speedy recovery, the summer is just beginning...yes, wait, you're in Maine, so that means summer is over in less than 4 weeks, lol..............
