the radio has the A and B ISO ports, which afaik the B port is amped so I'd need something to change the output from amped to line and then onto the C1 im guessing?

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I want to install a new head unit so that I can use bluetooth for music. I have the Single Din cdr 22, however upon taking it out I noticed that the car doesn't have the brown B iso port instead the sound is played through C1 (line out) The new radio's i've been looking at all have converters to ISO A and B but nothing for the C1 port, what kind of adapters should i be looking for if i want to make this work

POST 2Original post

Consider dealing with CAI in Roseville, Ca...he can set you up with the proper cabling, plugs, and the radio, etc. I just put in an Alpine double DIN unit in my 99' C4 Cab and I love it....Rod is his name....

What "new" radio are you going to install? Does it have RCA pre-amp outputs? If so, you should purchase a RCA to YELLOW C1 plug adapter. You may run into a problem with switched 12V for the amp. Normally, an aftermarket radio will offer switched 12V remote output (e.g. antenna). You need to make sure that line is also connected or the amp won't know to turn on.

This. Endless support, everything comes ready to install.
