Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Wheel Question
Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Anyone know if this wheel size will fit a C4S without modification? The width (9" front & 12" rear) seems wide.

POST 2Original post

You need the exact offsets to really know, I think 12" rar is possible for WB C4S with the right offset... There are a few wheel experts here (Tim is one...) so post the offsets and they can tell you "Go" or "No Go".

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Sorry about that Here are the details... front 18x9 et 50 1in lip rear 18x12 et 38 3in lip

POST 4Original post

yes, it will fit.... someone else should confirm. They look similar to Gt2 specs.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for the feedback... The wheels are coming off of a 993TT from what I can tell. Just wondering if the would fit on a WB 996 and really, what tire size I would run. Seems that the 295's on the rear would be stretched a little too much

POST 6Original post

You'll want to run 315's on those rears. Also, those rears are going to push out pretty far. Picture adding a 20mm spacer to your stock 11" et456 wheel.

POST 7Original post

^ Exactly! I am guessing they won't fit properly. 20mm further out on the rear wheels is a LOT. VERY CAREFULLY measure the remaining space you currently have to see if 20mm is available.

POST 8Original post

I wouldn't run that offset unless this is what I was after......

Exactly what I was thinking. Thanks guys for the input. I think I'll pass on the used set and go for the new BBS's as I originally planned to do.
