Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Here are mine, its not everyone's cup of tea but it can be changed easily enough or I can just pick up another set.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I planned on painting the rims gold to match side script. Just got the script on and really like the silver. Am I tired, crazy or maybe half sane. I love the rim style so didnt want to change. Im really conflicted now.
I think that Twist wheel would look killer in gold. Look at prismaticpowder.com for some examples of good gold colors for powder coating (I'd do a satin finish). No offense but I'd never use plasti dip as a permanent solution.
Funny, I asked my friends. One wont respond. One thinks I need to go gold to make special and the other says the 4S already has enough bling with the guards red, flared fenders and the gold script so leave as is before I go too far. I sort of agree. I really like how it draws out the rims. I guess Ill look at in the sun tomorrow. Maybe my opinion will change.
if I decide to paint, my friend does it for a living.
Thanks guys.
Wow thanks, thats really helpful. Amazing what you guys can do.
ive thought about lowering but been there, done that with another car. Didnt like the ride as much and scraped a lot. Definitely like that look though.
I think it would look good either way, silver is classic and gold is bold. Personally I would match the caps with whatever color you go with, it seems busy with the extra color in the middle of the wheel. Here are mine, its not everyone's cup of tea but it can be changed easily enough or I can just pick up another set.
No, I had them powder coated. The faces were actually in great shape, no rash just a few rock chips but the barrels were rough. I detail cars and I threw everything I had at it, even started attacking with steel wool and they just wouldn't budge so I just had them redone. I think I ended up paying around $160 per wheel with the caps painted and tires mounted and balanced.
The powder coating is the way to go. $160 is a great deal.
I did two of my rims in the garage. Sand, fill, sand, fill.... Shoot and clear. They came out pretty nice, I'll see how long they last. Friend recommended JB weld for the fill after I did mine. Next time if what I did fails.
Frisbee91: Agree, might be too much gold for the car. I think I'll stick to classic for now.
I'll think about it. I definitely want a new muffler, short shift and 996/986 sport seats. Again, not sure the height is worth the worry. Seemed I has lots of difficulties getting into driveways and parking lots.
Maybe I'll just higher wall tires. Who's kidding who, I am no racer.
Keep in mind actual results will look better than these 60 second photoshops. I'm using flat color whereas real paint will have metallic flake, yadda yadda. Hope they help you decide, nonetheless.

It's hard to pull off but it can be done. I think if you went with gold wheels and a smaller more subtle script it could be done but since the script and the wheels will both draw your attention it doesn't look quite right in my opinion. And then you think of the above....at least I do
