Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Are there any suspensions, either OEM or Aftermarket, that are typically recommended for a C4S?

I also run Ohlins R&T that lowers the car about 1.5 inches.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hello everyone,
I recently joined the 996 family and have a few noob questions. I tried searching throughout the forums but I found mixed responses.
I am trying to get the stance on my C4S down correctly. the car came with some aftermarket 19's and extremely low. The suspension still has all of the OEM components minus some H&R springs.
The first thing I have done is purchased a set of OEM 996 Twists:
18 x 8: offset 50: 225/40/18
18 x 11: offset 45: 295/30/18
My questions are the following:
1. What spacers would I need to get a completely flush look?
2. Are there any suspensions, either OEM or Aftermarket, that are typically recommended for a C4S? Like the OEM x73?
3. What would be an acceptable ride that is lower than OEM but doesn't cause rubbing, taking into consideration the spacers?
As you can see from the current pictures, the car is practically sitting on the wheels. Doing everything possible to fix this! haha
Thank you ahead of time for all the help!
Best,
Yamil
Maybe 5mm in the front and 10mm on the rear, but that thing looks LOW and may cause rubbing. Mine has H&R springs and I'm on 18"'s with spacers as well. You have a full on side shot?
I went with the OEM RoW C4S springs and couldn't be happier. Great performance and stance just on point (to my taste) without compromising day by day use.
My 2002 C4S had lobster claw 19s when purchased. We changed to OZ Allegerita 18 x 10 and 18 x 12. Ride improved some and no scrubbing when turning plus they are light. Believe I have H&R springs. Measurement from pavement to fender lip about 25.5 inches front/rear. Love the look of your wheels.
I was looking for the perfect fitment with my set up; something that had a bit more sidewall on the tire (rear)
I also did not want to run spacers.
After a lot of back and forth I selected Apex Racing wheels which make the perfect spec for the 4S; the only PIA was tires and getting the sizes I was looking for in a MPS4S. The 4S was not available in the size I wanted so went with PSS (very Happy)
I also run Ohlins R&T that lowers the car about 1.5 inches.
the specs;
SM10
Front: 18x8.5” ET42 with MPSS 245/40-18 tires
Rear: 18x11” ET36 with MPSS 295/35-18 tires
OHLINS R&T
No spacers
No fender roll
No rub
No codes
Hey everyone!
Sorry for taking so long to reply! I didn't even realize that so many people had commented back haha
Thank you all for the advice. Once I finish setting everything up I'll make sure to post some pics!
