Since I am on the other side of the world, where the Porsche Tax goes to an astronomical level, I buy most of my bits out of USA or Europe, which means getting everything I might need in one box.
If I want to replace all of my suspension (probably Koni Special Active with original springs), what else should I order as "do it while you are there" items...
Front: Strut Mounts 3, bearing 11, bump stop 9, shock cover 8
Rear: Shock mount 12, bearing 11, bump and cover 6 & 5 (do these rear mounts and bearings wear out at all?)
My car is a bog standard 2002 C2 tip with about 120,000 miles, used as a daily driver.
I just did this work on my car (front and back). Definitely do the mounts and bump stops. The bellows in my car were fine and the bearings didn�t look too bad. And that was after 139k mi on a 2003.
Mine were similar to Chris. I did replace the bearings as they were apart, and at least one had the carrier breaking up. Mine is a 2003 with under 120,000 kms at the time.

Rear side , i think you have wrong pic for rear shock setup , following should be right one ..
But , following was changed on my car:

Last two parts are actually some kind of rubber distancers , one is 0.5 mm and another one is 4.0 mm ,
one you need from two depends on which one you find on your car ..
Was scary when you see suspension after 17 Years and 120 Tkm ..
After i have changed all 4 shocks with mentioned bearings , rubbers and plastic thingies , it was different car ..

In general , not a rocket science , patience , tool, torque values and for sure happy end ..
