One thing I noticed is the release mechanism on your seats seems to be replaced with a generic Recaro mechanism.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi, Ive been looking all over the threads but still cant tell whether this seat is fake or real....
please help me out here....
I just bought the so far GT3 looking and seller says its genuine seat.
leather was reformed so cant tell the Porsche and Recaro crest front and back. But has the sticker and the plastic guides?? (Please check the pic)
After seeing this whole thing and checked one of my friends car which has genuine GT3 Seats which imported from Japan. But the stickers was different.....
this is how it looks....
SO!!!
can anyone give me the comments of what exactly my seat is???
Hi Jin - I'm not an expert in this but I tried to find some other genuine GT3 seats for sale. It appears that they have been re-upholstered because those are definitely not Savanna Beige...
This listing, however, has the exact same stickers (white and green,) as yours, which is reassuring.

One thing I noticed is the release mechanism on your seats seems to be replaced with a generic Recaro mechanism. (The bar underneath the seat in the front.) If you look at the eBay listing I posted those seats have the OEM-looking grab handle that is off to the side, like in my car.
Hope this helps you!
First two photos appear to be a genuine OEM Euro GT3 bucket. However as noted in photo #2 the seat has definitely been recovered in black and tensioning hook at the front that holds the cover on has been somewhat jury rigged as well as substituting non-OEM sliders.
The label in the last photo is wrong for every OEM Euro GT3 seat I have seen in terms of the font and the data given. I've also never seen a 2000 year of manufacture for one of these seats, but not sure they weren't made that early.
MACarbon does make actual CF restraint passthroughs...for $1750 per pair of seats!
Might be worth taking these off just to check. Not that I know anybody that would pay anywhere near that, but hey could maybe make a few bucks out of it if they turn out to be real.
