Took the car to Caribe Muffler in Miami to get the hack installed and all is well. I've taken my previous BMWs there and they have always produced a good end product. Been driving around today and the hack sounds great! Nothing different at low RPMs, but when I punch it or are at higher RPMs the difference is quite noticeable. Most important however is no droning!
That's a decent looking hack. Looks like a smaller-diameter crossover than Fister uses, so it won't be quite as aggressive - which is probably OK for most folks. I believe my neighbors wouldn't have been upset if this is how mine hand been done.
Just spoke with Caribe and they mentioned they wouldn't be able to remove the bumper to do the Hack - did you remove the bumper yourself before bringing it to Caribe?
Heck you don’t even have to remove the rear wheels. Just jack up one side of the car pretty high and put it on a non Harbor Freight jack stand and you should be able to get both out. Takes me about 1 hour to swap over a pair.
