I was hugely skeptical of the sprint booster prior to install... But loved it after I installed it in my 2004 C2. It does not add any power, but it does really change the driving characteristics. Makes the car drive like it should have from the factory. Liked it so much on the 996, it was one of the first things I ordered for the Cayman S. I put my C2 back to 100% stock when I sold it, so I have this one available. Less than a few thousand miles on it. Completely Plug-and-play, easy to install. Read the reviews from those that have actually tried one and you'll see it is a great mod. As new, includes box, instructions, remote wire to change modes. Part # SBPO0031S , Typically $299 new, $283 on Amazon, how about $225 including shipping (cont US). Can't imagine it wouldn't. I think they don't list '99's because it is a split year and some owners would have no idea if they have mechanical or e-throttle... Likewise, I can't imagine it wouldn't work on 996 TT's and C4S's VIN coded as 2005's.
