Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

In my case, one deck lid hinge was broken and the plastic and springs on the flap motors were bad so I replaced those as well.

I left some tools back there when I was filling the reservoir.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

I actually can't see what is broken, however that makes no difference.

I think you might be able to replace the support bracket without taking the top apart .I would carefully unfasten the two bows at the pivot points and see how much wiggle room there is .The lift cylinder is just two bolts so that is no problem .Some of the bigger dismantlers may have some insight and hopefully the part .
Mine broke both brackets. Dont live near a stealership. Took it to two independents who made it worse. So, I took it on myself.
bought parts from global restore in Tampa.
downloaded the service manual. Removed the top. Replaced the brackets. Sent the hydraulics to cabriolet hydraulics for a refurb. In my case, one deck lid hinge was broken and the plastic and springs on the flap motors were bad so I replaced those as well. Once everything is reinstalled, Ill take it for a calibration. Im not that mechanically inclined but it was a pretty cool project. Take lots of pics so you remember which bolts go where. Remove the window seal to make it easier to take the top on and off, and of course, the rear interior panels have to come out.
