Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I guess its time to dump the 6 disk changer and go with a Mem stick unit or Ipod unit or both.
I really like blaupunkt... But everything they seem to have has a silver face.
What are you guys doing?
it was the Alpine CDA 9815.... Currently this is discontinued. I go with the CDA 105 for price while if you are willing to go higher in cost the IDA-X305S would be great opotion.

Mny people, including me, have opted for a Pioneer AVIC unit. A lot of bang for the buck and face plate is black. If you don't have the MOST bus, installation is a straight swap.
I went the Alpine route, too, and I've been pleased with it. For a Porsche factory-style look, it's hard to beat Nakamichi, or was when I got mine anyway. Always had a little pang of regret about that.
Pioneer isn't bad. What ever you can imagine attachable with other things like built in gps and such for higher end. You can even fast forward or reqind songs with the new models pushing the volume **** to the right or left. Click up or down for album change on thumb drives or left and right for song change. What evers.
Stay away from Blaupunkt - it's not the company it once was. While I like the aesthetics and clear design, it's total made-in-China garbage now. I once put in Blaupunkt components in a previous vehicle and it was a very expensive mistake.
I went with the Kenwood Excelon, Bluetooth, Ipod, CD and it was a different light colors with a default for the orange that matches the rest of the dash.
Kenwood Excelon here too. Whatever you buy, make sure it has a companion remote control. I didn't think I'd use it much, but I do. As does my 4 1/2 year old. She controls the music on the USB stick from her car seat. LOL
Here's my install from last summer (can you tell I pimp this link a lot?)

I ended up putting in a JVC 815. Got the adapters so I didnt have to hack the harness. Blue tooth handfree speakerphone and bluetooth connect for music to your choice of device. USB on the back and one on the front. Sounds good....
So the stock Becker unit and 6 disc changer are for sale. I think 150.0 for both is fare.
