Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Replaced canister with low mileage used and new purge valve, blew out lines.
Leading evidence: 'Replace canister' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Check crankshaft position sensor' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Suggestion
Best is to find a shop specialized in diagnostic which can use an oscilloscope to check the sensor's waveform to confirm under the same condition you are experiencing the problem (i.e., engine fully warmed up).

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Been to mechanics multiple times and spent thousands and no one seems to be able to fix problem. Been dealing it for at least a year.
Car: 2001 base, automatic, 82,000 miles C2
Symptoms: Car stalls immediately upon start up before I can even shift out of park. ONLY happens when engine is completely warm. Never happens cold or during driving. If I try and start it 4 or 5x or give it some gas it usually "catches" and than I can shift it and start driving. car has NO CODES
Background:
1st Visit (dealer) replaced evap purge valve (car had a code). Maybe it ran fine for a few hundred miles if that
2nd visit - (local garage) - told carbon canister was breaking up and clogged evap purge valve. Replaced canister with low mileage used and new purge valve, blew out lines. Ran fine for about 500 miles
3rd visit (local garage) - cleaned out throttle body
4th visit (dealer) Replaced purge solenoids + housing and carbon canister again. Cleaned out lines.
5th visit (dealer) told breather line for vent system was clogged. Cleaned out line and replaced missing screw from Mass air flow sensor
On a side note also had spark plugs replaced, gas cap replaced, water pump replaced.
Has anyone checked the crankshaft position sensor? Usual symptom is difficult to start when hot and there's no code. I know it's not exactly the same as yours but it seems to be lose enough. Best is to find a shop specialized in diagnostic which can use an oscilloscope to check the sensor's waveform to confirm under the same condition you are experiencing the problem (i.e., engine fully warmed up).
Was the Fuel Pressure Sensor for Fuel Tank 99660620500 changed (located under the battery pan)? My idle quality has greatly improved since I changed mine. I'm not sure, but it might have fixed my hard start problems when it's hot outside.
Thanks for the input. The crankshaft position sensor has not been checked and neither has the fuel pressure sensor. I am going back to the dealer for some other maintenance work and will ask about those two possibilities.
Thanks!
