Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi guys its been a while. I hope everyone is well. Can someone with a 99/996 answer this question. If a passenger is in the passenger seat and does not have their set belt on, do you get a seat belt light and a warning ding? Iv finally decided to chase this air bag light issue after 4 years. I did the seat belt latch and wire update and still have the issue. I am pretty sure my issue is in the passenger seat. Sometimes when I have someone with me for a long weekend and they are in and out of that seat, the light actually turns off sometimes. My thought at this point is whatever switch tells the car someone is in that seat is acting goofy. Thanks for the help. Kyle
