Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suggestion
Interestingly, so few people use the service that it's pretty hard to justify its cost if we look at it in terms of dollars and sense in the here and now.
Leading evidence: 'Use service' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Use service' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

What are your favorite magazines dedicated to Porsche or even specifically the 911? If you list more than one, please rate them with 1 being what you consider to be the best on down.
NOTE: I've searched and not seen a thread on this, although I suspect it exists!
I've seen several that are expensive such as 911 & Porsche World which was just mentioned. Given that a subscription runs in the $100 neighborhood, I'm not comfortable subscribing with no recommendations.
Excellence
Panorama
Total 911 (when I have read it)
I rank Total lower because it is not US centric so the ads (manufacturers, and especially private auto-for-sale ads) don't reflect the US market. YMMV
There are several I have not read much and cannot rank them.
Excellence. Now if only they would move into this decade and fifer a digital version. The ONLY magazine I need to actually buy a hard copy of in 2015. WTF?
1. Total 911 (digital)
2. 911&Porsche World (digital)
3. Excellence (print)
4. GT Porsche (digital)
5. Classic Porsche (digital)
6. Autoweek (always an article or two on Porsche) (print)
7. Ferdinand (digital and print), Panorama (print)
Just my opinions of course...
I think Pano is the best Porsche magazine these days. Pete Stout's remodel and the good writers that followed him have transformed a stale club production into a cutting edge experience. Photography is stunning and the mix of new, old, and Porsche history makes for good, varied reading. And Pete and his writers have opinions, and voice them clearly. I write and edit for a living; these guys are good.
Next up are the Brits, 911 & Porsche World and Total 911. Always good, but total content per issue has really dropped the last few years. But I still read and buy.
Excellence was the standard for years. But it is too sterile now. good, no longer great. My subscription ended and I didn't renew.
One other observation: for years I relied on the mags for news on upcoming models, spy shots, etc. now all of that info comes from the Internet. So if the magazine's core feature writing is not strong and well-illustrated, the publication has no value.
You do know that
Panorama
has also been available to PCA members as a digital magazine since 2013, right? Just want to be sure, as it appears you enjoy magazines in digital form. Interestingly, so few people use the service that it's pretty hard to justify its cost if we look at it in terms of dollars and sense in the here and now. However, the cost isn't high—which tells you how few people are using it—and readers may increasingly "take" the magazine this way, so we'll keep the service available, and just improved it.
Thanks for the kind words, Ralph. As to the above lists, I say support them all as you can. It's
great
that we've got a lot of Porsche magazines and websites, and I want to see all of them thrive. Each comes with a different take on the Porsche world, and will meet different readers differently—and that's a good thing.
Stuart Gallagher just returned to Evo after many years at GT Porsche, and I feel he had fresher ideas than most. We're all a bit poorer for his departure, though I'll look forward to what he brings to another favorite title.
pete
Pete, I love the Digital Pano. I get it most times before my physical subscription arrives.
I can get my Porsche and Panorama fix on my devices wherever.
Keep up the good work.
I am old school, Pano and Excellence print versions subscribed now. 911 & PW for a long time, still pick it up at the newsstand when I can.
I also want to say to Pete to keep up the good work, Pano has really improved since you moved over. Excellence has taken a step back however.
Also want to say I really enjoyed Chris Harris's writing when he was writing for Excellence, a big loss when he departed.
