Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

No matter where I position the electric roof (partially/fully open) our ears get buffeted to the point where I have to close it. Am I missing something, has anyone else experienced this? Thanks, Ralph

POST 2Original post

1) have you tried the 'tilt' position? 2) try opening the passenger side window a bit if both windows are closed to reduce buffeting.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks pf. Haven't tried either. Yes we always have both side windows closed so I'll try to open one of them for test purposes... I appreciate your thoughts and help! Ralph

POST 4Original post

Google "heimholtz resonator". Cracking a window will end the thrumming, as will a deflector at the front of the sunroof to create a layer of still air above the opening.

POST 5Original post

Sunroof open, windows down at least half way or you get buffeting.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

well that's disappointing, didn't want to lower the side windows and it doesn't mention that in the Owner's Manual, at least not that I saw. The deflector makes sense after googling heimholtz. I'm frowning...
