Hello. Bit of trouble just happened to me. Upon finishing my first oil change in my new to me 03 C2 I went ahead and removed the PSE relay to do the PSE cut out mod. I had some trouble removing the relay cover so I had to use some strength. The cover then popped out, flew and landed in a tray filled with old oil. I was using the tray to visually inspect the engine filter for any debris. None found. So I�m left with the relay soaked in old engine oil. Can I drive the car in the mean time without the relay on? Really sucks because I want to drive it after the oil change lol this car is a blast to drive by the way. Here is a picture of the car just for the heck of it.

Drove it today without the pse relay. No more annoying mute in the midrange. No side effects to report yet. Way more fun to drive now.

You do risk that the valves will get stuck in the open position.

i did the PSE diode hack a few years ago. one of the best mods to do I also activate the PSE button a few times a year just to make sure the valves haven't carboned in place nice ride BTW
