Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

If they did it electronically, can I just use a battery and jump the correct connectors on the bottom?

How can I tell if they did it electronically or use the rear seat entry release?
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hopefully someone can answer but when the seats arrived, the seat back was all the way forward in both.
when I lift the lever on the top side on either seat I can hear something moving but the seat back doesn't release.
Is there some sort of mechanism that stops it if the seats aren't actually installed?
Can't bring them to an upholstery shop if they can't be moved
thanks
Backs tilt is electric. It sounds like they cranked them all of the way forward for shipping, the release is to let you move the seat back forward to get into the rear jump seats.
I think that's what they did. I don't believe the car in operating condition and now the seat back is stuck forward. How can I tell if they did it electronically or use the rear seat entry release?

What I remember is the lateral (up and down) as well as forward and back on my sport seats was mechanically operated. The only electronic part was tilt. Now if someone tilted it all the way forward electronically, it would result in what you describe. The mechanical release latch doesn't help to get the seat in proper position at that point. You need to connect the multi-pin plug and adjust or get a wiring diagram and connect 12V to the tilt mechanism.

You can squeeze it in if you dont bathe, and if you wear the same clothes 2 days in a row, and dont post here.
We expect an update day after tomorrow!
Well, that sure doesnt help.
Youre going to have to neglect the family AND eat faster now!
Ill see if I can help with the pin outs.
Ill look at my wiring diagrams and see if I have one for the seats.
This is what my seats have.

Put power and ground to the proper terminals and they came to life and are now sitting straight!
Thanks guy!
