Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

What is the general consensus on shipping. Looking for most affordable not the quickest. For example I plugged into a calculator a 50lb box 30" cubed and got a quote of over 225 even for ground!! there has got to be a more affordable option? I don't ship much obviously, and am looking for feedback. thanks

POST 2Original post

Try USPS. It should be significantly cheaper. I shipped my cats (32lb) from US to Belgium for $160 (3 day service).

POST 3Original post

heard about ground via Greyhound (no personal experience though).

POST 4Original post

BTW, assuming you're shipping your mufflers (from your other posts), they should fit in the large shipping box (24"x18"x18") from Lowe's. That's what Darin used to ship mine to me. USPS from San Diego to SF 2-day is about $50 with USPS. Make sure you check the "Display all options" when getting quotes from the USPS website. If not, they will only show the more expensive options.

POST 5Original post

Shipping UPS ground to/from a commercial address can significantly reduce the cost.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

thank you all!!!! really appreciate it.

POST 7Original post

For reference, I paid $38 to have set of 996 mufflers shipped from central FL to NC via FedEx Ground.

POST 8Original post

From and to commercial addresses? That's pretty cheap.
