Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion
On the bright side, at least you don't have to worry about replacing the bumper and paintwork.
Leading evidence: 'Replace bumper and paintwork' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace bumper and paintwork' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

As a non native English speaker, I must ask some help. Yesterday somebody reversed his car at a parking lot against the front bumper of my 911.
The car obviously had a towing hook that hit my register plate. The plate got twisted and the black support that is shaped to fit the shape of the 911's front cracked.
I am trying to google and search the ebay for such a black part (that holds the plate in place) but I am missing a word to search for.
What is the part called in English?
Anybody have an Idea where to buy one on line?
Thanks from freezing Finland.
The part number may be 996.701.105.00 called a support in the parts catalog. But there may be a difference in the parts number as US plates are a different size and shape than European plates. I think that is the number for the Euro part.
As a matter of fact I do have to have it painted. Some paint chipped off above the register plate. I just got back from a car body shop. My 911 will go in for a complete bumper painting in two weeks.
The lower part of the bumper needs a paint job anyways. Here in Finland they spread sand an cravel on the icy roads in the winter. The front lip of the bumper picks up a lot of tiny stones and after 50 tmiles the bumper needs a paint job.
Having considered to have the bumper painted anyway, this incident does not bother me much. The positive thing is that it gave me the kick to finally have the front of my 911 fixed.
The car painter asked an explosion picture of the bumper. He wants to know where the mounts are. The bumper has to be removed for paint job.
Could anyone help me with the explosion picture? Where to find one?

Let me know the end result of this because I want to put a Euro plate on the fron tof mine and was wondering about placement and mounting as well.
I have the plate, I'm waiting for the plastic frame that the plate goes into. Now, with that plastic frame, is that all I would need or is there another support behind all that?
No doubt you are way ahead of me, but adding a Euro plate in the U.S. can result in a ticket for having two different plates on a vehicle...even when one (obviously) is not an accepted local plate. Worth checking as laws may vary across provinces.
I am located in Ontario, and right beside us is Quebec. In Quebec it is only mandatory to have a rear plate and in the front anything goes pretty much without hassel. In Ontario though you do need to have both plates, but I am going to take a risk and have a euro plate in the front as a lot of times it gets over-looked because there are so many Quebec plated vehicles around.
I will have my real plate inside my vehicle and if I were to ever get stopped, I would be able to swap it on the spot and risk a ticket.
Just a stupid personal fooling thing I guess...
As a Quebec resident, people here have front plates from everywhere else than quebec. I have seen California to Alaska to Japan and all all around the EU. If i had a front plate bracket, i would gladly donate it to our Finish rennlister.
Last month some turkey backed their Camry with a trailer hitch right into my front bumper, and cut the bumper. People should have to remove this dumb hitches or be more careful...
