Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

27 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Anyone know these cars? From what it says everyone was ok. RUF Turbo R and Porsche 997 Crash into Truck on Porsche Drive - YouTube

POST 3Original post

I can't get past the voices of the guys in the car. Bet they needed an galit to calm their nerves...lol

That is just RUF to look at... But seriously sad to see, hope he gets better and the car is repaired.

POST 8Original post

My brother was supposed to be with that group. He says driver is ok. A shame to see the RUF go down like that.

POST 9Original post

Great to hear the driver is ok. His insurance company is in for a hit.

POST 10Original post

I'm guessing that it won't buff out easily. Sad to see a RUF in that condition. Hope the driver is ok. Who was at fault in the accident?

POST 12Original post

Seeing that RUF in that condition put tears in my eyes

That is Rufus, Steve is the owner. Great guy. He is an active member on the 993TT board. If I remember that car was in perfect shape and had over 100k on the odo. Well loved and driven. I was reading over there and he is ok.

POST 17Original post

Is this what happened for sure? I'd love to see the same in car video footage as the 'before accident' video. Sad to see a great car like that go down.... wonder if he'll buy it back from the insurance company to part it out... dibs on the wheels!!

I don't know, total guess on my part based on location of stop sign and direction the following P cars were traveling. I'm thinking the RUF had no stop sign. I think the RUF and the truck are both spun around from the path they were on at collision time....
