Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

After looking for many months for one used, I ordered this one.

Depending on the state of your current shift **** and handbrake, have you considered trying a leather repair kit?

Still too much; any info on if anybody makes a different cover, or handles, etc, so I don't have to replace the whole assy?
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hello all! First off, sorry, this isn't an IMS thread.....
Can anybody help with a part number/application for this shift ****?
http://www.suncoastparts.com/product..._Code=996knobs
I really like it, but can only find it at suncoast, and its a bit spendy for a shift ****. Would also like info/PN for matching ebrake handle too, if possible.
Been watching ebay and classifieds for a while, and they rarely/never come up.
Thanks in advance, and sorry this thread doesn't warrant boobies..
I believe that it is this one: 99642498115C50
C50 is the color code for Graphite Grey, so you should substitute yours.
Unfortunately, they seem to be hard to find. A company in the UK told me that Porsche would custom manufacture one for me, but this seemed a little excessive. I eventually found one on eBay for $100 that was in better condition than mine.
ECS has a real nice Alcantara shift **** and boot with red or blue stitching for $253.38...
http://www.ecstuning.com/Porsche-200...ter/ES1486142/
Not sure how that would look with tan but it is a bit cheaper?
Well, I cant THANK YOU enough! I subbed the savannah code onto that part number, hit google, and it came up at ECS for ~$360. What was weird is that only the savannah was that "cheap". All the others were around $425 or so. After looking for many months for one used, I ordered this one.
Now, the really bizarre part is that I just went back to the Suncoast parts page, and the prices DOUBLED this afternoon! The AL trimmed **** is now $950!!! from them! And the e-brake is now $1200!!! So at least I can now tell my wife I saved almost $600 on the shift ****!
Now, next one is the ebrake. It looks like the right p/n is 99642498023s30. And again ECS has it cheapest at about $427. Still too much; any info on if anybody makes a different cover, or handles, etc, so I don't have to replace the whole assy?
Thanks again!!
Yes, I had seen that one, and its really cool. I just don't think that the black with red stitching would look really good with savannah. Thanks though!
Glad I could help.
