I have purchased bilstein B8 shocks for my 1999 Carrera 4 about 8 months ago. The fronts arrived couple days after initial order and I was given a new date on the backordered rears to be roughly 6 weeks out. So ive proceeded and installed the fronts, while ive planned to install the rears on a later date. I didnt expect not having them 8 months later. Does anyone know if Koni yellow adjustables will fit C4? Some vendors list them as not compatible and some do. I know the front suspension is way different from the C2, but isnt the rear identical with the Carrera 4 suspension? Ive got vogtland sport lowering springs that have about the same spring rate as stocks.

In the same boat. I ordered back over the Veteran's Day weekend last year and I've received the fronts, but still waiting on the rears for my 997.1. My ETA is now late June I'm sticking with the original order, I don't know but I would be worried about different valving between the two different manufacturers. Honestly, I don't even know if it would be an issue. Though, Bilstein does show the same part number fitting for both cars, so it seems like it should work.

Dang it! I know how much it stinks. Ive actually just went ahead and purchased the Konis. My B8 ship date has been slipping periodically and very consistently to the point that i just dont trust bilstein at all. Im hoping that ill be able to adjust konis to my liking and just move on. I do hope that youll get your shocks june or sooner.
