This urethane spoiler fits so well that my initial test fit was so good that I forgot that it was not attached with adhesive/screws and drove-off!...only to have it fall-off once the air pushed it down and I ran over it.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

22 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thinking about adding a front bumper lip to my 2003 C4. I've been looking online at options but its hard to get a sense of what they look like on the car and a real world setting. Any advice or suggestions on which one to get or maybe to not get one at all? Always been a bit wary that I would scrape and ruin it on day 1.

POST 2Original post

Lots get ruined. Depends on your expectations, ride height, and how much you understand your entry angles.

Just Google pictures and you'll see for yourself.

Is that what you have on yours? Because that looks sweet.

POST 6Original post

Do you have a C4 or a C4S? That will determine what your lip options are.

C4 at stock height. It looks like there are a lot more options for the C4S.

POST 8Original post

I think there is an OEM option: https://parts.porschemonterey.com/oe...er-99650555501 Spoiler - Porsche (996-505-555-01)

POST 9Original post

Ive been looking at this for quite a while. Price is nice but worried about the fitment. Are the GT3 and regular Carrera bumpers a lot different? Is there too much hassle to get it to fit? https://de.csr-shop.info/GLS-Versand...-CSL105-G.html

Great advice. Amazing.

This sort of illustrates the trouble. Its kind of hard to see what difference that lip is making compared to something else.

For $70 I may just take a flyer and try this. Thanks for posting.

Brave man, or you have perfect roads and are VERY careful about driveways and speed bumps.....you don't mention where you live...

POST 14Original post

This urethane spoiler fits so well that my initial test fit was so good that I forgot that it was not attached with adhesive/screws and drove-off!...only to have it fall-off once the air pushed it down and I ran over it. Duh.... Good news is that it is quality urethane and it was not damaged, and that the air pushed it downwards suggested that it is more than just ornamental.

Bob, unless I'm missing something here, that part WON'T fit on your C4. It's for a turbo style bumper skin found on the C4S and Turbo models. I'm assuming you have the base factory bumper?

POST 16Original post

According to renn tech it fits 02+ standard bumper: https://www.renntech.org/topic/5147-...-front-bumper/

its from GT3Tek i have the same lip, fits great and looks great. Comes in raw black for you to paint but please read their reviews here prior to purchasing from them their customer service is lacking, but that said, when I purchased my lip, they mistakenly sent me a lip for a 996.1, when I ordered for a 996.2 they did send me a return label and got the correct lip sent out same week

POST 21 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for the responding. It does looks really good.
