Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 2Original post

Put it up on jack stands and run it in reverse for 2 miles...like they tried in Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Snap photo. Job done.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Shoot. Id have to go 90 miles now.

POST 4Original post

Great Milestone, That makes me laugh. As I came up to 250,000 miles on my VW I wanted to make sure to get a pic. So I was watching it closely and at 249,998 I made a mental note to get ready with the phone...next thing I know, its sitting at 250,006 -- and I swear I didn't even go that far. Still bugs me to this day

Lol, me too. A few years ago I was on the way to Monterey car week with a buddy in the M5 and when we stopped in Morro Bay for the night I said, "don't forget to remind me to take a pic of the odometer at 300k tomorrow". The next day we were on 101 outside of King City when he took a call from work on speakerphone. He worked for Rolls Royce at the time and an issue had come up where they needed to check the mileage on a particular car. As soon as the words "check mileage" were spoken, we both looked at each other and went "OH SH*T!".

Thanks JTT. I feel so much better, and seeing kilometers not miles doesnt matter. Even 100001 wouldve been OK with its digital-like symmetry. But 100002? Meh.
