Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

A neighbor is thinking about selling his very clean and well maintained 996 C4S
Silver, grey.
Any suggestions on asking price range?
I am not a C4S guy and havent followed this market.
Be kind please.
I told him I'd ask around before he puts it on autotrader.
The C4S has held value well, from what Ive seen. The coupe is more desirable (total personal preference, though). Tip could make it less attractive to many buyers (again, personal preference varies). Lowish mileage. If it has good documentation of service records, no accidents, and maintenance/service is up to date, Im going to say high 20s to very low thirties. Youre in 997 territory much above that, approaching the high mileage 996tt tip coupe range.
I think this is the better approach. In my experience as a seller, it will make it easier to sell. Aftermarket stuff turns away many potential buyers. On top of that, you seldom get market value out of aftermarket parts included in a sale. A clean stock example opens you up to more of a market. Then you can either save the good bits for your next vehicle, or sell them someplace like Rennlist, ebay, or Craigslist for a fair price - someone that wants the parts gets a fair price, and you get more than you would have if it was sold with the car.
Yeah, seems to be low 30s with clean PPI. All service records, books, keys,, always garaged.
Car is super clean and well maintained.
I have him posted it in the new marketplace.
Thanks all.
