Suggestion

You could probably use threaded inserts and bolts on the hood, but there isnt much rigid substructure to attach them to in the 911 bumper, so you might need to get creative with your welder.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

How to fit front LED light bar Hi guys, Im using my car for many track events in the evening and need to fit some more lighting for my ageing eyes! Upgraded all of the headlights bulbs but still not enough Struggling to find how to fit a rally style bar somehow as high up as possible....., perhaps between the bumper and the bonnet, any experience? Thank you

POST 2Original post

Dzus quarter turn fasteners into the hood and/or bumper were the rage for that when I was rally racing. You dont wat the lights creating drag during day stages (and it is one more thing to break in an off) but do want to add them at night. The Dzus fasteners let you do it quickly. You could probably use threaded inserts and bolts on the hood, but there isnt much rigid substructure to attach them to in the 911 bumper, so you might need to get creative with your welder.
