I sold my Vesuvio 996 to a gentleman who lives in Atlanta, GA. Does anybody have any recommendation for him on reputable Porsche Shops in the Atlanta area? I'm happy that my car is going to someone who is going to appreciate and enjoy it. I'm going to do an oil change before the car is shipped....for that area, what weight of oil is recommended? I previously used 0w-40 Mobil 1. Thanks for any assistance.

Performance Imports is good for that side of town and Rylands is good for the Cobb side of town. Both prep many high budget race cars. Performance guys where at the 24 hours of LeMans a couple of years ago as back up for one of the teams.
Congrats Mark! I've had "porsche overlap" everytime I've acquired a new one, and it always feels good to finally have the money in the bank on the old one, and to no longer have to sweat about how long you will be carrying the costs of the extra car. Now you can focus your attention on the Iris blue beauty!

Scott, it's a relief to have it sold. I bought three project cars in about a week (not my brightest move). The sale of the Vesuvio car paid for the Iris blue car and the BMW. Now if I could just sell one of the two Range Rovers, my checking account might stop bleeding red.
Thanks guys. It is painful parting with my first Porsche. Half of the fun, for me, appears to be putting them back together. I'm enjoying the new project.
