Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Why doesn't Porsche color code their springs the same within a set? Reason I ask is I'm comparing my originals to a new set of ROW M030s and while the rears are shorter (as they should be), the fronts look to be the same (which they shouldn't be). The color codes on the new rears are green, white and blue and the fronts are green, white and orange. Interestingly, the codes on my old originals are just the opposite (front and rear). I would have thought the ROW M030s would be one color set and the originals would have had another color set. The way they are configured makes you think you have a mismatched set. Any thoughts?

The 996 companion book has your answers. Porsche used several different colors on the springs and for the same springs. If that makes any sense. Don't my book with me...could someone chime in with a PDF?
