I was going to keep them to change things up once in a while but can't see ever using them again - just too many other wheels I'd rather have.

why did you get custom wheels like Fikse wheels and end up using spacers and only 10" width in the rears?
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Happy 4th everyone,
I'm debating selling my Fikse FM/10's complete with an almost new set of toyo t1 proxes and 15 mm spacers. Wheels are 18x10 and tires are 285 30's & 225 40's. Wheels were have absolutely zero curb rash but do have some light scratches/oxidation (they'd make awesome track wheels). Tires have <2K miles.
I'm not sure about offset but maybe someone can dechiper the stamp next to valve stem from pictures? Using the hubcentric H&R spacers the rears fit perfectly on a NB car.
I was going to keep them to change things up once in a while but can't see ever using them again - just too many other wheels I'd rather have.
Tires cost $750 but I can't find a published price for a new set of FM 10's.
All that being said, what would be a "fair" price?
Thanks for any input.
the stamps are serial numbers so fikse can trace it back to its origins. nothing more special than that. i'm sure it tells fikse specs, for what car, etc.
i'm not sure how much man. for 18s new, i paid around $1K each per wheel. the quality of the center finishing is unmatched by ANY manufacturer. the technipolish is insane with the cuts that help to make it sparkle without the ghetto polishing jobs. durable, lightweight, strong. can't beat that.
I'd probably sell them for $3K since the tires aren't all that great and the fitment isn't ideal. i'm curious... why did you get custom wheels like Fikse wheels and end up using spacers and only 10" width in the rears? assuming you are the original orderer/owner, didn't you do measurements to try and get the best offset/width combo possible? it would've made your set way more interesting for any educated buyer.
Great question - The O/O paid over $5,500 through the dealership when new. Without spacers they fit like stock wheels, so I guess o/o didn't care for or consider having the more aggressive stance.
You're so right about fikse quality - incredible, and even with tires they weigh in the low 20's.
I tried emailing fikse a few times with no reply but I'll try calling to determine offset. I can't imagine they wouldn't fit a caymen - where are you located?
Sorry I posted on this thread; I just saw your FS thread.
It seems like they *might* fit, based on other wheels of similar size and offset between the 996 and Cayman. The rear tire size though doesnt match up with the Caymans overall rolling diameter, Im trying to verify a few things.
I am located in NY; I actually have a bit of lease overlap with my Cayman and a BMW, so I have the larger BMW for the next week or so, I could find my way to MD if necessary.
I concur with Ben Choi that the tires aren't worth much, but I'm not sure how easily you could sell the wheels for 3K. I agree that Fikse are awesome wheels, and I'm tempted to buy them myself, but I really don't need them, and I'd prefer that the finish was perfect since I don't do the track thing anymore. And as track wheels, the tires are wrong. I'd say $2500 would be a good price.
Michael
FYI - offset is 64 rear & 38 front
I'll separate wheels & tires because I'll eventually need more rubber & t1's last forever.
wheels & spacers for $2,500
STDFAST - where are the pics of the wheels?
