Since I got the car there was always a time delay when I turned my headlights on.. it used to be 2-3 secs.. later it got worst (3-5 minutes) but last saturday the lights didnt work at all so I had to drive with the foglights...I did notice that the Voltmeter used to be around 14 Volts now it barely gets above 12V So I was wondering if that is the reason why the lights dont work. I am hoping that I just need a new battery (by the way my car is a 02 C2)... Thanks a lot for your help

When the lights didn't go on for 5 min I would certainly have taken it in... Does the car turn over a few times before it starts? Does the Voltmeter drop when opening or closing the windows? Do you have the factory battery installed? Why do you park on a driveway and drive on a parkway?

If the HID lights don't draw the initial amperage which is larger than that of a halogen bulb ( I can't think of the correct number) they will not stay lit.
