Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suggestion
The service adviser I use at the Porsche Store told me the reason they recommend 0w/40 is..thats all they have.
Leading evidence: 'Recommend 0w/40 is..thats all they have' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Recommend 0w/40 is..thats all they have' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

However, since every brand of oil has a specially adapted unique composition, the same oil should be used for topping up between oil change intervals if possible.

Also - should I run 15w50 oil to keep my oil pressure higher (snicker snicker) OK forget that question.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I have been using ZERO, dealer says no difference.
Greetings,
Please advise, 0W or 5W for refills when low. I have been using ZERO, dealer says no difference.
Oil pressure gauge, could you please advise me of your normal reads.
Thank you,
Have a great summer.

Non-issue for top-ups. Unless your 'top-ups' involve a couple liters or more. In which case you have bigger problems than what oil viscosity to use. Otherwise, don't worry about it.
From the latest oil TSB, "
Miscibility: The engine oils approved by Porsche can be mixed with each other. This means that it is not necessary to flush the engine when the oil is changed if another type of oil is used. However, since every brand of oil has a specially adapted unique composition, the same oil should be used for topping up between oil change intervals if possible.

Temperature
Ranges: Above 12F : All oils approved by Porsche for the vehicle type to be considered.
Below 12F : All oils approved by Porsche for the vehicle type to be considered which have a viscosity of SAE class 0W in the low temperature range.
Oil pressure question (a serious one): In my old 911, one bar per 1000 rpm was the benchmark for oil pressure. In the 996, I get almost 2 bar per 1000 rpm. Should I be really happy, or are they all like that?
Also - should I run 15w50 oil to keep my oil pressure higher (snicker snicker) OK forget that question. Just joshing.
If you got 2 bar every 1000 rpm, you would blow your oil filter apart.
The "so called" rule of 1 bar for every 1000 rpm is also not true. The relationship of oil pressure and engine speed is not a liniear.
