Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I tried to close my cab, and it does, but the "hook" that hooks in the center top windshield keeps opening and closing than stops....I can close my door windows but not the rear side windows..... it is only a small problem since I always drive with the top down, but park it outside with the top closed.....anybody ever had this problem?? and what is the remedy?? thanks Nicolaas

POST 2Original post

Nic - Dutchie had this same problem recently (within the last two weeks). Someone suggested checking the fluid level of the Top system. Dutchie reported that it was a little low and that after he topped the fluid off, the Top worked correctly again. I guess you are going to have to and/or ! Sorry, I couldn't resist!

POST 3Original post

Nicolaas, Is our government going after Dutch people with 996 cabs... I had the same issue last week... WTF! See attached... https://rennlist.com/forums/996-forum/362409-top-doesn-t-close-all-the-way-help.html In the end I helped guiding the roof as suggested and it all worked again.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post
