hi there, Totally looking forward to this trip!! Next week I'll be driving my C4 (with NY plates) down to Atlanta from Saratoga Springs, NY. I need to make good time as it is a business trip to a trade show in Atlanta and I'll be coming back the same way the following week but on into New York City. One stop at a college friends house in Carlyle, PA on the way down. Looks like a lot of open highway... I95 to 495 to I95 to 85 etc... No radar detectors in VA so I'll shut it off and hide it. Any tips on places to avoid or be particularly wary of along the way. Or a good spot to let loose? thanks for any info in advance, Louis PS- i have been trying to join rennlist but keep getting an error message at the pay pal connection.

PJ, No info on the trip, but I got the same error on membership. Try clicking the membership link on the left side menu. That brings you to another set of instructions that worked. The membership link at the top kept getting the same error, no matter what I tried. RB

Some spots on 87 you can really let go be careful on the nj turnpike virgina is ok speed limit goes to 65 as you Richmond towards 85 you can let loose for a sec or so....I did this trip memorial day weekend nyc to myrtle beach to atlanta back to nyc...if you do 95 south to 20 west thru south carolina you could really let loose on 20 if you have a good radar.....safe trip
