Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion

If the rear Bilsteins you're using have the shorter 145mm long piston shaft used in the rear ROW M030 Bilsteins, you should probably get the (shorter) ROW M030 rear bumpstops.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

So I am waiting for my row m030 springs to come across the ocean and already have my bilstein HD shocks I am putting them on with. While I have my suspension apart, are the other parts that I should be replacing? Bumpstops?

POST 2Original post

If the rear Bilsteins you're using have the shorter 145mm long piston shaft used in the rear ROW M030 Bilsteins, you should probably get the (shorter) ROW M030 rear bumpstops. You might also want the correct compensator disks to go with the springs, but you'll need the springs in-hand before you'll know what disks you need. You can find the details about those in this article , as well in the comments in a number of M030-related threads in this forum, and others.

POST 3Original post

Following Doug, Depening on how low your car ends up, you may be riding on the bump stops if you don't change to the M030 bump stops. If you do change the bump stops, be careful on bumps. The direct replacements HD Bilsteins use the same construction (tube and shaft) as the US Standard shocks. If you end up hitting the bump stops with ROW M030 bump stops, you may actually blow the shocks out.
