Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.
Discussions that report identifying a cause

Reported cause
Problem was the option codes on the sticker did not match the options on his car.
Leading evidence: 'option codes' (1 discussions report identifying this cause; no attributable repair resolution). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'option codes' (1 discussions; 1 report identifying it and 0 suggest it). The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace )' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Mine too wrinkled, but no sticker usually means a wrecked car (trunk lid replaced).

Suggestion
I was told by my dealership that the options sticker you are talking about under the hood is the ONLY sticker they can not order to replace a missing one.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hey folks.
I was wondering if its possible to order the sticker with the chassinr and color etc... that are orginal on the innerside of the front hood?
Regards //
I've not heard of people buying the sticker but I have heard of people buying a Certificate of Authenticity (CoA) which in theory lists all the same things as the sticker. However, many people have also complained that their CoA was not accurate.
There's a duplicate of it in your owner's manual or the service book... I forget which. If you really want one that badly, you could do what the concours guys do: make one. Find a friend in the graphic arts trade to scan your duplicate and print it out on label paper. Best I can think of. I'd be shocked if Porsche was willing to bother selling something that was basically a manufacturing and inventory control label.
I was told by my dealership that the options sticker you are talking about under the hood is the ONLY sticker they can not order to replace a missing one. Every other sticker on the car has a Porsche part number and can be ordered if need be.
Your dealer cannot order you a replacement white option sticker that goes under the hood. But how hard is it for PAG/PCNA to print a replacement sticker if they wanted to? There is nothing special about printing information on a paper stick-on sticker.
If Porsche is motivated to print a sticker then Porsche can.
About 2 years ago on this board there was a new USA owner who did the usual. He looked at the sticker and listed the option codes, trying to figure out the factory options. Problem was the option codes on the sticker did not match the options on his car. Upon further investigation the VIN on his sticker did not match the VIN of the car. In fact, the VIN on the sticker was for a LHD ROW car.
The option sticker for some ROW car somehow was placed on a USA car.
He said he got the correct sticker for his car.
If people rely on it so much for authinticity or whatever they should make that sticker out of something better than paper. Mine on both my cars (Boxster and C4S) are wrinkled from moisture. (still legible however). I imagine they dont look too gud after twenty years or so.
Mine too wrinkled, but no sticker usually means a wrecked car (trunk lid replaced). I would also be very questionable about a car with a sticker that was just fabbed at a print shop.
