Only issue is he is about 5 hours away so I figured I could buy a set of 3.6 cans and send them to him instead and then just keep my stock cans for later.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

12 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

After all the inspiration I have received regarding the MKII Mod I am looking to saddle up and get it done. I don't really trust any old muffler place here in LA to do it, but I know Darin ( Fister D) knows what he is doing. Only issue is he is about 5 hours away so I figured I could buy a set of 3.6 cans and send them to him instead and then just keep my stock cans for later. Anyone intrested in getting rid of their's?

POST 2Original post

You won't go wrong with Darin....he and I did the first "Beta" test and development of the MKII 3.6L cans...and the longer I have them on there, the better they sound. He's done a number of sets sindt then and has mastered the process. You might want to try going by some of the Porsche dealerships.....sometimes the new owners want different exhaust systems and will have the originals taken off....the dealerships might have a set or two lying about. I've read of another Renlister doing this.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

They weren't so open to that idea at Bev Hills porsche but I'll keep my eyes open. Thanks!

POST 4Original post

I have a set. What are they worth to you? PM me. JS

POST 5Original post

By the way, I am located in OC. Looks like you are in LA.

POST 6Original post

I am also still looking for aa set of these as my '99 cans are starting to split at bottom after 108,000 miles. Thanks

POST 7Original post

I'm looking for a set also, as my Factory PSE developed a severe rattle in the passenger side can and I had to remove it. For a quick fix, I modded my old 3.4 can with the 2.25" pipe, but the sound doesn't match well with the original PSE.

POST 8Original post

Folks, I would like to get rid of mine. They were removed from the car at about 9k miles. I am located in Southern CA. PM me if you are interested

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just PMed you. Give me a call and I can come by today to pick them up.

POST 10Original post

I am intrested ..please let me know if they are avaiable

POST 11Original post

I have a set too. I removed them from my 02 996 at 10K miles when I upgraded to the PSE and they are in perfect condition. I am located in San Diego.

POST 12Original post
